The Journey Begins
After months of soil amendments, bed construction, and countless hours in our hoop houses, we're thrilled to share that Blooms & Buzz Flower Farm is officially open for our first growing season.
What We've Been Up To
This winter has been all about preparation. We've:
- Built our first 20 long raised beds (70–100 ft each)
- Completed the Early Bloom Tunnel hoop house
- Amended our Forsyth County clay-loam with compost and organic matter
- Started ranunculus and anemone corms in the tunnel
- Planted over 2,000 tulip and daffodil bulbs
What's Coming
Our first blooms should be ready by late February — fragrant narcissus from the hoop house, followed by tulips and ranunculus in March. We can't wait to share them with you.
