What's Blooming This Week: Early Spring Daffodils

April 28, 2026

This Week's Stars

The hoop house is absolutely bursting with color right now. Our heirloom narcissus varieties are in full glory:

King Alfred Daffodils

These classic golden trumpets are the quintessential spring flower. Their bright, cheerful faces and sweet fragrance make them irresistible.

Tahiti Doubles

With their ruffled layers of gold and orange, Tahiti daffodils look almost like small peonies. They're stunning in a simple mason jar arrangement.

Sir Winston Churchill

Our personal favorite — these multi-headed doubles are incredibly fragrant and produce multiple blooms per stem. One bunch fills an entire room with perfume.

Arrangement Tip

Daffodils release a sap that can shorten the vase life of other flowers. Let them condition in water alone for 6–8 hours before mixing with other stems.
